Blue Bass is all about deep electronic & dance music.It’s about touching souls in a deeper way.Blue Bass is based in Greece and came into existence in 2005.It was founded by Greek dj,producer and musician Sotiris Riniou [aka liquid light].The vision was to function as a hub for people in love with rhythm science.Blue Bass kicked with “loverise” by liquid light a digital and vinyl release.This first release caught the attention of the international dance community,being supported by djs like Laurent Garnier,James Zabiela,Antony Pappa and many others.It was also featured in Uk’s dj mag as a “sureplayer” receiving a great review and putting Blue Bass firmly into the international underground dance map.Other high quality releases followed by artists from Greece,Italy,UK,US and elsewhere.These projects have received support by djs like Tony Thomas,Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Mothersole,Jim Shaft Ryan,Nick Holder,CJ Macintosh,Nick Warren,Laurent Garnier,Dubfire,Motorcity soul,to name just a few,as well as magazines,radio stations and blogs around the world.In 2009 BlueBass was featured in Danny Tenaglia’s “Futurism” compilation on legendary New York’s Tommy Boy records,with the track “metaphysical vibe” from R.T.A.Soon after its launch Blue Bass started a cooperation with Dancefloor Resolutions an event organization team.Dancefloor Resolutions already had a string of succesful events hosting Greek and international names of electronic music,like John Digweed,Jimmy Van M,Guy J and many Greek national headliners.Together they developed liquid light-live sessions a combination of dj and live elements bringing back the musicality & emotion often missing from today’s dance music,through their Funktion One soundsystem.These parties were full of intense rhythm going on until morning hours, unfolding the Blue Bass experience into the minds and bodies of clubbers.Blue Bass has a steady underground progress having been charted by djs,online stores’ sales charts and press alike.These days Blue Bass counts 2 sub labels,Avatone recordings and Black Star Music.
