2012 is here and Blue Bass continues the journey to ever shifting musicforms and rhythms.
-Tired of barbarian soul-less beats and superficial,jolly dance music drained from any musicality and depth,made by people who sell themselves as producers/top models/djs/actors/dancers etc,but lacking any REAL musical background or REAL love for music,we aim to put the musicality and the magic back into electronic and dance.
-We do not know how far we will go but we will do an honest effort.
- Blue Bass has been active for the last 6 years and has become an established name in the underground/independent electronic and dance music scene.Over the years Blue Bass releases have been receing support from djs like Danny Tenaglia,Hernan Cattaneo,Laurent Garnier,Dirty Vegas,Tony Thomas and many more,as well as radio stations magazines and blogs around the globe.
-Blue Bass is running two sub labels,Our fast rising sub-label Avatone with music from new and upcoming producers mostly from Greece.
-Our second sub label Black Star is ready to launch early in 2012.

American born, Spanish based DJ/Producer Patrick Turner is arguably one of the most diverse names in underground house. In addition to promoting his legendary events at the Winter Music Conference in Miami and productions on top labels, he has also been a purveyor of deep music in the Mediterranean for over a decade.
Although Patrick was a key player in the Baltimore music scene for the youngest years of his career, it was while running the Movim Recordings record label in the beginning of the 2000’s that he first earned his position among the international world’s DJ elite.
He began touring top destinations; Milan, Buenos Aires, Moscow, Vancouver, London, and so on. His earliest productions were on labels such as Miguel Migs’ “Transport Recordings”, Peace Division’s “Low Pressings, and Mr. C’s ”End Recordings.” His music combines deep house, wth elements of funk, techno, and disco. Original productions have been featured on genre-spanning outlets such as Fabric, Circoloco, Ministry of Sound, Om Records, and Renassaince.
Under his “Lomez” guise he collaborates with Andrew Grant, of Circoloco DC-10 Ibiza, where recent productions have been compared to Nicolas Jaar and charted by Maceo Plex. In 2011, they have been included on compilations by labels such as My Favorite Robot and Lowpitch. As a result this summer he was invited to perform in Ibiza at the incredible new Sankeys venue.
A fixture in the island of Mallorca where he has held various gigs, performing for the last 10 years, Patrick Turner’s DJ sets have resulted in him becoming a resident of the island, finding himself emersed deep into the Mallorquin culture & playing popular village festivals far away from any tourist destination. in 2012, he will release on Hypercolour, Halo’s new Surface Recordings with partner Nicola Baytala, and feature more collaborations with Andrew Grant.
Lomez has been a well known suspect in Blue Bass roster,with a string of superb deep house releases with a unique mediterranean vibe.Patrick has also releases as Explicit Theory in cooperation with his music partner Atnarko.
